I was very curious to try this Vietnamese restaurant tucked away in a small alley in Boulogne-Billancourt. 🇻🇳 With a friend, we were craving Asian food. I ordered a Pho bò because it had been a while since I'd had it. My friend opted for Japchae, surprised and curious to find a Korean dish on the menu. To start our meal, we shared pork spring rolls and mini shrimp spring rolls. 🧾 The appetizers were good and nice and crispy. The pork spring rolls were a bit too greasy, but luckily the salad helped lighten things up. We much preferred the shrimp version, whose flavor was far more pronounced. 🍤 As for the Pho, I really enjoyed the broth with its delicious beef rib flavor. The pasta was a bit thicker than what I'm used to eating elsewhere. The meat was tender but lacked juiciness for my taste. I would have preferred raw slices to cook directly in the hot broth. 🍜 I didn't try the Japchae on the plate opposite me, but according to him, it was good. To finish on a sweet note, I ordered sticky rice with mango. The dessert was served warm, but it was still tasty and not too sweet. Unfortunately, the rice wasn't cooked properly, with some very hard pieces, which somewhat spoiled my enjoyment. The sliced ​​mangoes were small but still very fresh. 🍚🥭 The restaurant's interior is very colorful, immersing you in the atmosphere, from the tables and chairs to the tableware. I've been there several times for lunch, it's really good, with lots of vegetarian options. Everyone is friendly, the place, the people who work there, and every time I go I wonder why I don't go more often.
