Un restaurant à découvrir. Nous sommes 2 couples d'amis et nous avons découvert ce restaurant. L'accueil est fait parfait, les plats sont excellents et les conseils du patron concernant le choix des vins est judicieux. Au vu de la qualité les prix sont très corrects. Je conseille vraiment ce restaurant au gourmets qui veulent des plats de qualité à un prix très abordable. Ne changez rien et merci pour ce bon moment

We were served on the terrace and enjoyed a little coolness. The dishes are very well presented and appetizing. The choice is wide with two vegetarian options.

Nice restaurant because we had lunch under the Halle St Jean. The dishes are plentiful. Possibility of vegetarian dishes. And Bravo to the waiter for his trips to the kitchen/halle in this intense heat.

More than 1 hour of waiting to get entry (1.5 servers for more than 17 tables). A large salad for more than 20 euros, rather puny. On the positive side, tastes are there.

Ideally located in the center of Valence, La Cantine has a beautiful terrace located under the hall on Place Saint Jean. The cuisine is tasty, with a menu that offers local specialties but also other dishes. The wine list is interesting, including service by the glass.

28/11/2024: Always great for a no-fuss meal in a great atmosphere. We eat well for cheap. 🫶
19/11/2024: We eat well for a reasonable price. The server is very friendly. We were seated not very far from the toilets and therefore a lot of passage near our table because the passage space was narrow. I have doubts about the homemade dessert (tarte tatin), the fruit was a little frozen. On the other hand, I had a Gondola and the cook was very generous with the salmon and it was delicious. The salad also comes with its sauce, a treat.

31/08/2024: A nice place!👍 I eaten a delicious tartare and an excellent Café Liégeois for dessert! 👌😋 🍨 There is a good atmosphere here.💁‍♀️ I recommend this restaurant! 😉
30/08/2024: A restaurant - but also bar - where the products chosen for our taste buds are chosen with care and good taste. A dish of the day as accessible as the formula. Pleasant and attentive staff.
