We feel a strange atmosphere, yet the service is fast and friendly. However it is strange.
Now I find the cuisine either a little heavy for savory dishes or too sweet for desserts.

It is certain that the change of ownership radically changes the situation. We are here with a team which shows us a certain professional start and which is looking for itself. And despite all the criticism from alumni that we can read on the internet, the team remains smiling.
It would take some time for the reputation of the place to return. It will come little by little, when it clicks.

Succulent “beef cheek” Served on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes, each bite was a perfect marriage of texture and taste....
The filet mignon, for its part, was a masterpiece of tenderness... the accompaniment of tagliatelle, al dente, was enriched with a sauce perhaps a little too mustardy for my taste, but nothing serious ..
What sets “La Cantine” apart, beyond its dishes, is the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant.
Ps: well done for the frying, a real pleasure!

Une très très bonne expérience. Le cadre est cosi, le charme du vieil Orléans ❤ la carte ...miam...tout du fait maison et très bon avec un acceuil et un service convivial souriant . A FAIRE SANS HÉSITATION 😊
