La Cantine comme à la maison! sur Martigues

05/11/2023: The nature around the campsite is spectacular. The place is predominantly built up with houses. At the bottom there is an area for campers. The reception is staffed by very young staff who also speak English. Some of the places are nice and big. The sanitary facilities are spacious, but only a few are open. The light goes off while you are still in the shower. There is no toilet seat, but at least there is paper. However, it would have to be cleaned more often, especially if the film crew uses the toilets. There is no direct access to the beach because the film set is there and is closed off. The place is well protected from the wind and can also be accessed with higher mobiles. There is no infrastructure nearby. All bakers are more than 1 km away. Swimming pool and restaurant were closed in October and there are no chairs on the terrace. Everything was cleared away. But it was a bit expensive, just under €30 per night

01/11/2023: Top campsite in a top location. Very friendly reception. I will definitely come back here again.
