26/08/2026: We got turned down for a table of 9 by La Cocotte de l'île because the owner couldn't be bothered to move some tables together, but what pure luck and serendipity on our part to find Karine's! It was absolutely superb! From service, to food, to everything else, we had the most amazing lunch and couldn't stop talking about it, especially thankful not to have settled for the awful other resto. Well done Karine's for being all round outstanding. They're next to.the big church, down a quiet side street, so please go and try!

31/07/2026: Excellent Asian (Vietnamese) restaurant with unbeatable value for money. We had a family dinner for four for €69, including drinks and a meal for everyone. The terrace's location along the canal gives it a pleasant, summery feel.

21/06/2026: We arrived at 12:00 PM and left at 1:55 PM without having finished our meal. It took 30 minutes to take our order, another 30 minutes for the appetizers, and the same again for the main courses. We had asked at the appetizer counter if it would be possible to be served a little faster as we had a commitment at 2:00 PM, but as mentioned earlier, we left without being able to finish our meal, even though we had mostly ordered set menus. As compensation, only one à la carte dish was deducted from the final bill to make up for the five desserts from the set menu that weren't served. The food was good, but nothing special. The service, on the other hand, was very slow, and the owner was quite cutting and sharp-tongued when we asked questions about the menu. It's a shame; we came to have a nice time as a family, and we left frustrated and annoyed.

16/06/2026: The welcome, service, and food were perfect. I highly recommend it, if only for the bouillabaisse. At this price, everything is there, and the taste is excellent. I will definitely return; it's worth the trip from Marseille!

15/08/2026: Recommended at the port by a fisherman who delivers them, so the fish is fresh 😃👍 Only 6 customers at lunchtime, yet the waitress was cold and curt when greeting us, seating us, and taking our order 🤔 Her smile returned as the meal progressed. Fish and shrimp from local catches, cooked by a very friendly Breton chef 🙂: very good, but a bit too much oil at the bottom of the dish... Good value for the €32 set menu. Remember to book for dinner, it gets very busy.
