The dishes, the desserts... are really very good and lovely presentation Also pleasant setting, with a terrace in summer. The boss, on the other hand, is not always friendly. It's too bad.

Mixed experience in this restaurant very well located opposite the castle. The place is nevertheless welcoming despite the high attendance. The room is tastefully decorated. The wait is a little long, the service lacks friendliness and personality. It's a shame. The menu is well studied and the dishes sought after. The kitchen is no exception. The dishes are tasty although not very filling. It is better to have a starter, one dish is not enough. The price is not shocking, for the quality of the products offered and the location of the restaurant. However, there is a little something missing to set this restaurant apart from the others, both in terms of the cuisine and the general atmosphere.

Marius, this is my canteen! Does not decline in quality over the years, exceptional location opposite the theater and castle. Make no mistake, opposite is the junk food palace

Total satisfaction, warm welcome, friendly and efficient service, delicious dishes at very reasonable prices. We discovered this address a bit "by chance", but we will return there with great pleasure knowing the facts. To recommend without reservation.

a varied menu, good atmosphere, attentive staff. Tender duck breast with honey and grated butternut (lacks a little seasoning), good mushroom risoto and very delicious tender veal and potato sauté. Price a bit high

Cuisine délicieuse mais plat vraiment chiche. 5 toutes petites coquilles st jacques et quelques cuillères à soupe de riz noir. Trop cher pour ce plat qui cale à peine comme une entrée... Dommage j'avais déjà visité ce restaurant et je m'étais régalée...

Bonne soirée entre amis dans une ambiance agréable et un service très sympa. La charcuterie corse était de qualité, accompagnée d'une excellente bière à la châtaigne. Les saint Jacques manquaient toutefois un peu de goût et franchement, 6 saint Jacques cela faisait peu... En dessert, un tiramisu à la crème de marron, où cette dernière prenait finalement trop d'importance pour les amateurs de tiramisu que nous sommes... Nous reviendrons en essayant cette fois-ci d'autres plats.

Chateau du Val

02/04/2024: We came as a family for the Easter weekend, 3 nights. Everything was absolutely perfect! The place is splendid! But above all, the staff is incredible, extremely kind and attentive. The chef is as exceptional as his cuisine. We had so much fun! Cristina for messages is wonderful too. Everything is organized so that adults and children live together in harmony. Our little darlings are as pampered as the adults. Thank you, to each person at Maison du Val for allowing us to feel at home, at yours. We will come back with great pleasure and will not fail to talk about it around us and here so that everyone knows that it is a place to discover urgently! Thanks again 🤍 Papin / Marly family
