La cantine de Sam sur Paris

Cozy, chic vintage shop. Friendly service, but complicated due to the kitchens being located in two places and the rather cramped seating. The menu is enticing, and both the savory and sweet dishes were delicious!

The welcome and service were very pleasant and attentive. There were a few minor errors with the dishes, and a bit too much garlic cream; we were a party of four adults with different dishes and we all noticed.

Truly exceptional food. The service was not fast but worth a bit of a wait. Prices very reasonable, and indeed a bargain for food of this quality. Plenty of choices for vegans and even possible to find vegan, gluten-free dishes (not necessarily for coeliacs - I don't know). Will definitely go again next time in Paris. A curious detail is that the restaurant has two separate sections, not connected inside, one of which we found much more spacious and quiet on our evening visit than the other.

Delightful vegetarian spot in Montmartre. Amazing aubergine and halloumi with homemade ginger beer. Quaint evening atmosphere.
