I eat lunch there every time I'm in Romans. I love the setting, the atmosphere, and the food. For me, it's one of those places that embodies French culture. Simple and delicious food. The service is always excellent. It's also a lovely spot for an aperitif on Friday evenings. Unfortunately, places like this are becoming increasingly rare. Thank you!

A very nice and welcoming place right in the city center. The menu is varied and there's nothing to complain about regarding the food or service. I recommend it and I'll definitely be back!

A discovery made with colleagues. I loved the manga-collage-style decor. The homemade meal was high quality and very reasonably priced. The service, I assume, was provided by the owner, who was very friendly. A great experience, thank you!

We had a wonderful time at "La Cantine du Pois". It was our first time there, and we were won over by the warm welcome, the excellent service, and the generous portions (simple yet delicious). Thank you for the thoughtful touches: warming up the baby food with great care ;) We'll be back!

10/07/2026: I really appreciate this restaurant for the quality of its dishes; you can tell they're prepared with fresh ingredients. We're also always warmly welcomed by Magalie, who is attentive and always smiling. The best part, and what I love about this restaurant, is the terrace overlooking the back garden. A charming little quiet spot, perfect for having lunch away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Very pleasant. The dining room is also cozy and beautifully decorated. My favorite spot in Romans 🙂
