The hotel is located in a very nice medieval village. The owner is the "chef" of the exquisite restaurant.
We enjoyed delicious dishes, perfectly flavored with fresh herbs.
Not great compared to usual. The starter was very good, but the main course was disappointing because it was unfortunately far too salty. This was mentioned, but there was no reaction from either the owner or the manager, and they also forgot to bring us the wine and the carafe of water.
The desserts were good.
So I hope that next time we'll enjoy ourselves as usual 🤞
The market menu is well worth the price and features well-executed traditional cuisine. A slight disappointment was the dessert, which felt out of balance with the orange blossom.
Reservations are recommended as the restaurant fills up quickly.
At La Capitelle restaurant, the friendly chef delights us with traditional dishes, expertly prepared with genuine passion. Highly recommended is the signature dish of sweetbreads with chanterelles. Two evenings in a row, in a very pleasant, off-season atmosphere, we enjoyed the foie gras terrine (a marvel), the poultry pâté en croûte (a special mention!), the calf's head, and the lamb shank (Monsieur declared it "the best I've ever eaten!"). Excellent value for money.
