A superb restaurant in terms of cuisine, service (thank you, owner, for the warm welcome and kindness), and the setting itself, which reminded us of the taverns of yesteryear that we never experienced. Go there if you value authenticity more than superficiality and unnecessary frills. Thank you again.

Just steps from the Constantine baths, this is a place to recommend as warmly as the welcome we received. The cuisine boasts southern colours and flavours, and is served in generous portions.

The situation wasn't ideal for assessing the restaurant. An Asian group had made reservations, and we could only get the daily menu. It consisted of a simple French salad and a ragout with Camargue rice and green beans. The whole thing tasted bland. The dessert, a combination of almonds, honey, and cheese, did have some character. The owner provided animated service, which contrasted with the bland food.

14/10/2025: Warm welcome and efficient service. The pizzas and meats were good. Small but adequate menu, good selection of craft beers. We dined there two nights in a row.

10/01/2026: An attempt at originality in the starter and main course, but disaster struck with dessert: the little cakes in the "café gourmand" were stale! Yuck! Like the other tables, we left them after the first bite.
08/01/2026: We were very pleased by the restaurant, the food, and service. The price for the 55euro 4 course meal was excellent. The atmosphere was upscale and quiet. The quality was very high, similar to french haute cuisine. The decor is very Arles-based, with the queens of the city adorning ancient walls of the dining room. I highly recommend it!
