24/05/2026: Tucked away in the pedestrian streets of Arles, a delicious find with great service and food.

18/05/2026: There is no shortage of people praising the virtues of this restaurant but I want to add my experience as a humble Canadian with poor French language skills. We came very late in the evening (8 PM) with no resos and we fully expected to be turned away. Yet, the server took it upon himself to clear a disused table for us. Then, both him and the owner provided warm attentive service which left a great impression on us. The food itself was amazing (as per the reviews) and we consider the prices a bargain for what we got. White asparagus with creative pairings of sweet fruits, perfectly seared lamb that might make a lamb-skeptic believe, black pig that had us questioning if it was actually steak, too many hits to recount. This should be a definite on the list to visit in Arles, but make sure you make a reso a few days in advance unlike us.

29/05/2026: Maybe the food is great, I don't know... But we arrived at 8:50 PM, and the chef saw the time and sent us away. Tables were empty and lots of people were still eating. Terrible reception. What problem do you have with time limits in Arles? In response to the owner: Given that the chef was still cooking and not cleaning, which is easily visible given the kitchen and the view, I consider his comment pointless, but I understand because I probably hit the nail on the head. If two people go to his restaurant, which, as is specified almost everywhere, closes at 9:00 PM, it means that at 8:50 PM, given the availability of tables, he could be slightly more flexible and welcome new customers who would surely have appreciated your cuisine and recommended it to friends like us, whether traveling for pleasure or business. But so it is! We walked around the corner and had a wonderful meal in a restaurant that wasn't in a hurry to clear the table because he, too, had already put in 10 hours of work.

29/05/2026: Excellent food and attentive service. We were here for lunch; there are several options (starter, main course, main course and dessert, or everything together). The prices are a bit higher than elsewhere, but the food is truly excellent. You get as much water as you want free of charge. Good English is also spoken for tourists. Highly recommended!

20/05/2026: Try the poached cod it’s amazing! People are very kind and friendly. Service is fast, atmosphere is cozy. 10/10

19/05/2026: While strolling through the old town, we stumbled upon this little gem. The outdoor seating area – a narrow alleyway leading to residential buildings, with its charming and typically southern French flair – immediately invited us to sit down. The service team wasn't quite ready to open yet, but the owner gave us an exceptionally warm welcome and invited us to stay. Such attentive, truly guest-focused service is a rare find. Le Criquet is a little jewel nestled between the ancient theater and the amphitheater. A small, exquisite menu featuring regional specialties, a relaxed ambiance, and a pleasantly unhurried atmosphere. It's exactly the kind of restaurant you discover by chance in Arles – and then immediately want to return to. What's particularly lovely is that, despite its central location, everything feels surprisingly peaceful and authentic, completely free of tourist traps. The cuisine is honest, fresh, and typically Provençal – with attention to detail rather than an overloaded menu. A place to arrive, breathe deeply, and savor the moment. Greetings from Germany

15/05/2026: Warm welcome, excellent cuisine, a very good couscous... The restaurant itself is fine, but that didn't detract from the quality of the food. The waitress was very friendly.

14/05/2026: Passing through Arles, we stopped at this small restaurant. The traditional cuisine was delicious and reasonably priced. The service was very friendly. We highly recommend this place.

03/05/2026: I'm sorry, but I didn't like anything! I found the meat tough, and it was accompanied by a cold salad (with peas?)! The cheese plate seemed to consist of at least two cheeses discarded from single-serving portions.

28/05/2026: Had a wonderful meal here wish we had come earlier on our stay in Arles . Wonderful food and presentation and nice small plates. We chose a main dish and desert, easily could have had an appetizer but not knowing the size of the portions opted for less food. Must call out our wonderful waitress/sommelier who is friendly, knowledgeable and a great smile. Well worth a visit inside is romantic and cool but outside on the patio surrounded by by plants is also lovely.

23/04/2026: A very nice place, pleasant staff and excellent food.

12/04/2026: The food was fantastic. We ordered the daily special, a steak with a unique sauce containing mushrooms and wood ear fungus. Special praise goes to their kids' meal; it was very thoughtful, featuring a special combination of meat, fries, and ice cream. The server even gave the kids lollipops afterwards – the service was warm and attentive.

02/06/2026: Our best meal in Arles by far. Delicious dinner served by a staff that is passionate about their food. We really enjoyed chatting with chef David about how he sources the ingredients locally. The braised pork was fork tender with a delicious sauce. The wine list is limited but had a nice range of options.

02/06/2026: The food was delicious, and it was beautiful to look at. I especially loved the lemon tart. The staff was friendly and helpful.

09/06/2026: We had a very delicious meal there. It was also busy with locals at lunchtime. It was the only restaurant for miles around that was open for lunch during the off-season.

31/01/2026: Great products and truly exceptional service. I hardly speak any French, but the saleswoman immediately switched to English and helped me very kindly. She even carefully and airtight-packed everything so I could easily take the cheeses on the plane. You can immediately tell how much emphasis is placed on quality and customer service here. Highly recommended!

27/04/2026: Two excellent burgers. Fast service, excellent homemade fries, I got them to go and they even offered me foil to keep them warm… the meat was top-notch, nothing to complain about… I recommend them
