La Caravelle Restaurant-Pizzeria sur Aix-Les-Bains

A wonderful discovery! We ate there twice and each time we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The waitress is very friendly and the food is delicious. They even made the children feel welcome while they waited for their food – a nice touch! We'll definitely be back.

Thank you for all these years. If paradise exists, the caravel showed us the way.

Four years since I moved to the area... four years since my partner started saying, whenever we pass your place, "These are the best pizzas in Aix-les-Bains!"... four years, and here we are on March 31st, 2026, it's finally happened... and while I haven't eaten any other pizzas in Aix, I have in Chambéry and the surrounding area, and YES, yours is the best. I had a Caesar. The Parma ham wasn't cooked with the pizza, so it wasn't too salty. The arugula was fresh and crisp, and the pizza was hot... it was beautiful and delicious, and the crust was amazing! 😍 I loved the crust. So my partner, who's been coming here since he was three (he's over 50 now 🤫), found what he remembered... so we recommend it, we will recommend it, and we will come back. We'll come with the family. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and quantity. Thank you, and may your establishment prosper. And to those of you passing through... if you're tired of raclette, fondue, and tartiflette, go to La Caravelle! 🤗

A nice little moment at this restaurant during a weekend in Aix... my friend's pizza was very good, the Caesar salad could perhaps be a more generous portion for a "meal" portion, and I didn't find the breaded chicken very well cooked... The waitress was alone but very pleasant and smiling.

La Caravelle is an establishment we've known for many years. We used to dine there whenever we were in the area, and it's always with a certain emotion that we return. During a recent visit, we found the owner at the pizza place. The staff has changed, but we clearly sensed a different energy, a different vibe. We perceived the owner as tired, but he's holding the course, persevering despite the pressures and difficulties that are so prevalent in the restaurant industry today. And for that alone, he deserves respect. The service was very good, even if we missed our old habits a little—which is normal when returning to a place filled with memories. The food, however, remains excellent, true to what we remember. We will definitely return on our next trip, because this establishment is fighting for its future, and because coming back here reminds us of a particularly pleasant period in our lives.
