La Casa Tropical sur Chartres

I'm writing this live... a very nice and enjoyable experience. The quality and quantity were excellent. I rediscovered the taste of the Caribbean... The prices are affordable and reasonable. I highly recommend it. I will definitely go back.

The owner and the waiter are very pleasant and attentive. The dishes are generous and delicious at affordable prices. In short...we had a great time and recommend this establishment.

A truly welcoming and warm place, with a superb Caribbean-inspired atmosphere 🌴☀️. The food is excellent and transports you: last night we almost felt like we were back on vacation in Guadeloupe! A wonderful discovery, I highly recommend it.

Excellent Creole cuisine. I recommend the salt cod salad and the smoked chicken with Creole sauce. The tu-punch goes well with the meal. A very good vegetarian option, which is rare on tropical menus. Thank you to the owner for his warm welcome!

I ordered a Chicken Tiep through the Uber Eats app for €28, and for that price, I was expecting a larger portion than just a small plate. Aside from that, the dish was decent 👍

Exceptional traditional cuisine (Caribbean blood sausage and sausage rougail). A true culinary journey. Not to be missed.

I come to Chartres from time to time, but I never miss the chance to eat at Casa Tropical. The owner is very friendly, the welcome is warm, and the food is excellent. Even when you come alone, you're never isolated: the owner, chatty and welcoming, takes the time to talk, and it's not uncommon to chat with other customers in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Every time, I have a wonderful time: for a few moments, you truly feel transported to the islands. I highly recommend it!
