A truly beautiful place that we were delighted to return to. The service is impeccable, worthy of a proper restaurant! Everything is absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Not stopping at Café Serpente would be a mistake ;) I highly recommend it!

Very disappointed, came with a friend. We both ordered the Southwest salad, two different plates served for the same price. A nice slice of foie gras (excellent) for her, mine was very thin, no gizzards on my plate, no vinaigrette. For 22 euros, I was very disappointed! The dishes arrived before the cocktails; I'd never had an aperitif in the middle of a meal before.

Everything was perfect. From the service to the food, there was nothing to complain about. The servers were attentive, the dishes delicious, and the setting magnificent. We will gladly return; please don't change a thing.

26/02/2026: An excellent, little-known gem in Chartres. People often stop at other, more prominent establishments, while this restaurant is a true culinary treasure. A very warm welcome with a smile. The vaulted cellar, where entertaining performances sometimes take place, is definitely worth seeing. 👍 Highly recommended
22/02/2026: Excellent evening spent at Le Tire-Bouchon, superb food and equally perfect service. Special mention for their excellent homemade terrine and French toast. I highly recommend it!

04/03/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The homemade terrines were delicious. The service was friendly and welcoming. An experience to be repeated.
11/02/2026: A disaster after a very positive first experience... Over an hour's wait for an aperitif and a main course! The waiter was friendly and courteous, but she was alone serving, which didn't help matters! Several dishes and desserts were out of stock... It would be nice if they had announced this beforehand and told the customers! We came from Orléans and left angry with a hefty bill and no compensation whatsoever! There are some fundamental issues that need addressing! We were therefore forced to have dessert elsewhere, at a nearby establishment... In short, this will be the last time we go to this place, which is a shame because we had a good time last June! PS: No regrets, considering the response and the lack of self-reflection!
