La Cascade sur Moustiers-Sainte-Marie

We arrived at 8 pm and only waited 5 minutes. The servers were fantastic, very kind and welcoming. Thank you to them! As for the food, everything was perfect 👌. We thoroughly enjoyed it, with a special mention for the quality of the meat. We were seated next to the waterfall. It was magnificent, and we were able to enjoy the cool atmosphere. The price is quite reasonable considering the beauty of the setting and the quality of the food.

There were eight of us, including two dogs, without a reservation. A warm welcome, a fantastic terrace, impeccable service, and delicious cocktails and food! All at a reasonable price—what more could you ask for? Thank you to the entire team at La Cascade! 👌

We started with a charcuterie and cheese platter to share, which was excellent and much appreciated. However, the rest of the meal was more disappointing. I had ordered a rare beef fillet, but it arrived medium-rare, perhaps even a little overcooked. My wife had chosen the lamb shank, which was lukewarm and even cold in the center. We pointed this out to the staff, who prepared a replacement plate. It was slightly better, but the inside was still too cold, giving the impression that the product may have been improperly defrosted or insufficiently reheated. In the end, after the additional wait and despite the replacement dish, the problem remained unresolved. My wife practically left her plate. Under these circumstances, a small gesture of goodwill would have been appreciated. This is why we are awarding 3 stars. It's a shame, because the staff were friendly and the beginning of the meal was very promising.

Despite the terrace being absolutely packed and the staff overwhelmed, the service remained very quick and attentive, and the dishes offered excellent value for money considering the setting near the river! I will gladly return!

Absolutely top-notch in a beautiful village, I'd even say one of my favorites!!! The waitress Irene was fantastic...so friendly and welcoming. It makes you want to go back. The service was very quick...and the meal met our expectations. I wish you all the best for the future.

A table by the waterfall, an attentive waitress, perfect dishes… a perfect evening!

Very good food. Beautiful location overlooking the waterfall. We ordered meat and fish, but for my dish I had to wait and call the waiter because he didn't arrive. In the end, I waited, but everything was very good.

We stumbled upon this place at lunchtime, after visiting Moustiers, and we loved the setting of the terrace with its waterfall. The welcome and service were very pleasant and professional, and the traditional cuisine was delicious. The price was very reasonable considering the quality of the food. Thank you to the whole team for your kindness. We'll definitely keep this address in mind and recommend it.

The restaurant has a beautiful view, can’t beat it. I had the pork cheeks which were devine❤️ and my friend had the steak. My only complaint was the service. No one came back to the table once the food was served. We needed water but couldn’t catch the eye of the server. We snagged a bottle off another table.
