La Cascade sur Mouthier-Haute-Pierre

The hotel's location at the end of the valley, in the heart of the mountains, is very accessible by road. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and warm. Our entire stay was wonderful. The room was very functional with a balcony and views of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant offered excellent cuisine, and the breakfast was very comprehensive, featuring many homemade products. A perfect stay!

We came to share an evening with friends to celebrate a birthday. We had to add two extra people at the last minute, and the staff adapted by adding a table and two place settings without any problem. The welcome was very pleasant, and we were each able to enjoy dishes prepared with great finesse, with a special mention for the trompe-l'œil fruit at dessert time! (Superb). We will be back!!

Great location and good food. The price of the meal was reasonable, however, a glass of wine was very expensive.

For a business trip with an overnight stay, the view from the room and the restaurant is worth the trip. The dinner menu offers a limited selection, but the food is very good and the dishes are appetizing. The rooms are clean, and the bathroom is functional. The Wi-Fi isn't great, but tethering works—there is a signal in the mountains!

Basic rooms with a small balcony that gives to fantastic views. The hotel is situating in a stunning valley. The village is equally good to stroll. The bathtub is slippery. You have to be careful. We had one night dinner there and we found the bread to be warm and tasty. Overall, a nice stay in a lush bucolic setting.

Hikers from the Oise region. We stayed for 5 days at this establishment. Our room, with a balcony and a view of the Loue River, was simple but comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was as pleasant as possible; THANK YOU. The food was excellent and of high quality. A place to remember!

I went at lunchtime with my dog, received a wonderful welcome, and even ate inside. The set menu was fantastic, delicious, and very generous for only €19. I'm so grateful; it's so nice to encounter such kind people. I'm on holiday for three days and will definitely be back. Thanks again. Amandine

Two nights, three days with half-board – what a change of scenery for us Belgians! We'll definitely be back because the restaurant is fantastic, the dining room has an incredible view, and it's so peaceful and serene. The owner spoke to us; he's very friendly. Even if everything isn't always perfect, as I read in some reviews, you have to remember that they do everything they can to make sure it is. And a little flexibility these days, wouldn't you say? These people aren't robots; they dedicate their lives to their guests. The value for money is excellent, and you feel right at home. If it weren't 550 km from my home, I'd go for a weekend three times a year. Thank you to the team, we salute you!
