La Castellane sur Entrecasteaux

Limited choices, no starters offered on the menu. A chef's suggestion was offered for both a main course and a starter (octopus as a main course and gazpacho as a starter that day). Pizzas, pasta, and meat dishes were available on the menu. The pizza dough was excellent, nicely puffed up at the edges, so the pizzas were quite good. I ordered a Chicken and a Lardo pizza. For dessert, there was a choice of a "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts with coffee) or a "gourmand" without coffee. The selection of sweets was pleasant and varied: panna cotta, chocolate-tonka bean mousse, mascarpone whipped cream, and a scoop of ice cream. The two young people serving (a young woman and a young man) were very welcoming and efficient; they did their job very well. Leftover pizza could be taken home in a container. Improvement: the cleanliness of the menus.

There were a lot of things missing from the menu, but the setting is nice, the service is very good, and the food is tasty. Overall, a good restaurant.

A fantastic find! A simple, friendly, and very pleasant pizzeria. The food is excellent, the service is quick, and the wait is remarkably short. Special mention goes to the chef, working alone in the kitchen, who professionally served around forty covers without compromising on quality or efficiency. This is truly noteworthy. We wholeheartedly recommend this place for a great time and a delicious meal.

A very nice little restaurant with good pizzas.

Yesterday, with a German couple, we were greeted by a very friendly and, to top it all off, very efficient young woman. The dish of the day (octopus with vegetables and fries) was absolutely delicious, truly excellent. I've rarely tasted anything so good. As for the pizzas, as usual: thin and crispy crust. In short, a very pleasant time in a remarkable setting and the tranquility of a small tourist village that, while certainly touristy, has managed to retain its human scale.
