La Causerie des Lilas sur Hierges

An unusual spot at the foot of Hierges Castle. Drawn in by the BBQ on the terrace, we stepped inside La Causerie des Lilas. The welcome was friendly, simple yet professional. Good quality ingredients, well-prepared, and no fries... which is rare in this area... We had a lovely time. The unpretentious but well-executed dishes will delight your taste buds. We'll gladly return. Good value for money.

Beautiful place in the north so close to Belgium

We returned for the third time this year, but as a group, for a snack break during our exploration of the Ardennes. The participants loved it, and some came back to eat before heading home.

A must-visit barbecue spot on the tip. The meat is beautiful and is grilled over a wood fire in front of us. Belgian beers are on the menu.

And if time could stand still for a brief moment, It did, in a wonderfully picturesque village, with fabulous ruins. Within this small village is a superb tavern where we enjoyed a delicious appetizer platter. We will return without delay. Excellent service, a very warm welcome. I recommend it 👏🏼
