Sophie, Zïa, Raph, Julian, expect a very warm welcome in any case this is exactly what we experienced at Cav'a'SO the staff is great the atmosphere is very friendly I highly recommend enjoying a aperitif in this bar which for our part really impressed us very pleasantly with its simplicity and authenticity. Come to Cac’À’SO, it’s great. 😎

Vue sur les bateau très agréable Serveurs sympathiques Saucisson nature : excellent Petits bémols : Un peu d’attente pour avoir notre saucisson. Mais sûrement à cause de beaucoup de commandes de planches. Confusions entre les tables et les commandes.

Nice welcome at the port, the waiters made us forget the grayness of La Rochelle thanks to their good humor

We wanted a light meal in the middle of the afternoon. A place recommended on TA was busy with all-day drinkers, so we took a chance on this bar/cafe by the old port. We struck lucky. Best of all was the cheery Madame, who warned us that we did not want the large planche of meat and cheese unless we were really hungry (we were); recommended a very good rose wine; and ensured that we had enough bread throughout our stay. The location is excellent, on the quay with good views of the harbour; the price was very reasonable and the meats and cheese were very good, apart from a couple of cheeses that had just started to sweat - but were nonetheless palatable.
