A wonderful discovery! I wasn't familiar with your food, but I definitely plan to come back regularly to enjoy the delicious meals you offer. Thank you for this experience of truly authentic cuisine.

Really attentive staff. Chef was able to accommodate one person in our family with a dietary restriction. The food was quite delicious, but oversalted. The joli bout de cochon in particular was so salty that my gums and palate felt weird until the next day, and I slept much hotter than usual (but it was delicious). This is not a complaint, but I think the restaurant should let new customers know that most of their main dishes (nos plats canailles) are just a piece of meat and no accompaniments. If we had known about the composition of the plates, we would have ordered more salads and shared, more like tapas. But the prices would be too excessive for tapas: 22€ for volaille de bresse for just one poultry leg, not even half a chicken, was asking for too much. The dishes that come with a sauce are a bit more balanced, but still no vegetables or starches, just meat and sauce.

A wonderful discovery! The atmosphere is typical of a traditional Lyonnais bistro, with tasteful decor, walls covered in a patchwork of paintings, signs, posters, advertising panels, agricultural awards, and more... very welcoming. Friendly service and a warm welcome. A truly delicious experience! It's recommended to come hungry because the menu and dishes are generous! Don't be afraid to mop up the sauce! Having tasted the eggs meurette (a perfectly executed sauce, not at all sour, clearly made with a good wine!), the beef with morel sauce (smooth and fragrant), and the gnaffron with St. Marcellin cheese on my neighbor's plate, I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! They're incredibly generous when you order the rum baba: a giant bottle is brought to your table with an equally giant pipette, and you pour yourself the desired amount! Reservations are always recommended as it's very popular, thanks to word-of-mouth! And it's well deserved!

Absolutely delicious!! We went on May 1st and they seemed very busy, but the service was excellent and very pleasant. The food was fantastic, and the price was very reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients. I highly recommend it and we'll definitely be back!! ☀️

We went this Friday the 24th. I hadn't booked a table, but we still managed to get one for two. It's a small, excellent bistro-style restaurant. The dishes were well-prepared and beautifully presented. It's simple but excellent cuisine, which isn't so common these days. The service was also impeccable. I highly recommend it, as the restaurant was packed at lunchtime. We had eggs meurette with sausage in wine sauce... excellent! So I highly recommend it.

A quick search for nearby restaurants led me to Le Bouchon de la Cave. What a wonderful place for lunch! The atmosphere is great, the service is warm and friendly, and the food is delicious! I highly recommend it; I'll definitely be back!
