La Cave sur Ludres

A truly wonderful culinary experience in Ludres La Cave is a restaurant that offers a superb dining experience. The €39 set menu (starter, main course, then cheese or dessert) may seem a little pricey at first glance, but the quality is undeniably there. The dishes are beautifully presented, the flavors are varied and perfectly balanced. The service is impeccable: organized, professional, and pleasant, with excellent advice, particularly on wine selection. The wine list also offers a fine selection for wine lovers. The decor is understated, the atmosphere pleasant, and the layout of the dining room well-designed, making the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant for a truly excellent meal.

Excellent service, intimate setting, excellent cuisine

Refined dishes, perfectly cooked and very tender meat. Excellent foie gras, a little less enthusiastic about the salmon starter. Perfect desserts, balance of bitter chocolate, biscuit and praline. Kindness of the staff. Clear the dishes a little more slowly and it will be perfect. Good advice on food and wine pairings.

Excellent welcome and very good food. If you want to have a good time in a quiet and warm place, I recommend this restaurant.

Third visit in three years, this one too many, what a drop in quality. Meal served lukewarm. Don't taste the wine. Meat mediocre. Bread left on the table for dessert. Water will come one day. For a semi-gastronomic meal, the service was less than mediocre, cleanliness needs improvement, the cheese cover was broken. In short, a very big drop in quality.

I highly recommend it! A beautiful setting, we had a wonderful meal; everything was cooked with fresh, high-quality ingredients, it was exquisite. The service was also very pleasant, and thank you again for the thoughtful touch: a glass of champagne with dessert to celebrate a birthday.

Once again, a perfect (or almost perfect) meal. A truly incredible foie gras and red berry starter, much appreciated by all. The cod and its artichoke variations were all wonderfully good. The guinea fowl breasts and one of the potatoes were a slight letdown, with a slight undercooking, but everything was very much appreciated. The espuma was particularly appreciated and even adored. As for dessert, the pepper ice cream stood out too much from the dessert, and I would have preferred it as a starter... (but everyone's tastes and colors vary), but the rest of the dessert was delicious. Thank you also for seating us at the back of the table as requested when we made our reservation.
