We were served by two waiters, the first a short, dark-haired, tattooed man as friendly as a prison door, while the second, wearing a beret, was very friendly and helpful.

Thank you so much to the wonderful waiter and for the fantastic encounter with him. We are the two older folks who had coffee in the morning and sparkling wine and shandy in the evening. On our departure day, he ran after us and gave us two wine glasses, which arrived here in Germany safe and sound. Thank you so much for such kindness and love.

A pleasant surprise: the room was spacious, the food was simple but excellent, the meat was succulent, and the staff were attentive and friendly. I will gladly return with friends.

21/09/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Probably the best flan I've ever eaten! I absolutely had to try the famous flan from Maison Dudot after hearing about its reputation… and now I understand why! A true marvel: an incredibly smooth and melt-in-your-mouth texture, just the right amount of firmness, a delicate vanilla flavor, and above all, perfect balance. Nothing heavy or overly sweet. The pastry provides exactly what's needed to complete the whole experience. Sometimes you think a flan is just a simple dessert… until you taste one like this. Then you immediately understand the difference. Best flan in France 2026: for me, the title is well deserved. It's indulgent, perfectly executed, and incredibly addictive. The only problem is that after tasting it, other flans might seem rather bland! A wonderful discovery in Metz and a place I'll definitely return to, even with the endless Saturday afternoon queue. Well done to the whole team! 👏
