La Cave du Salut sur Fecamp

This was our first time at this establishment. We received a very warm welcome, the staff were friendly, and the food was excellent. We will definitely return.

We chose La Cave du Salut for its appealing menu and reasonable prices. It was a weekday dinner for two. The welcome was friendly, and we chose our dishes on the touchscreen outside the restaurant—a nice touch, and you can even see the dishes. Alternatively, they bring you a tablet to choose at your table. We had a seafood platter for two, which was very good. Then we had a seafood stew for two, also a real treat. We were tempted by the crêpe menu! We couldn't resist a pablito and a benedine, which I asked for not flambéed. Both were delicious. Just a heads-up, we ordered à la carte. They do offer set menus, but if you choose this option, be aware that it's not available after 8 pm. You can come without hesitation; I'd be surprised if you were disappointed.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant; the meal was perfect! From the main courses to the desserts, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The service was also impeccable, and the value for money is truly outstanding. We highly recommend it!

What a lovely discovery on our trip through Normandy! 🇫🇷❤️ We went to La Cave du Salut in Fécamp this evening and had a truly delightful time. Even the appetizer platter was a real highlight – beautifully presented, varied, and above all, fresh and incredibly delicious. The prawns, fried seafood, and various small specialties were a fantastic start to our meal. 🦐🍋 But it wasn't just the food that impressed us. The entire ambiance is simply perfect: cozy, modern, and yet pleasantly French. Add to that the beautiful location by the harbor – exactly the atmosphere you'd want for an evening in Fécamp. The friendly and attentive service was also particularly pleasant. You don't just feel like another guest here, but truly welcome. For us, tonight was one of those meals where everything just came together perfectly: fresh ingredients, delicious food, a lovely ambiance, friendly service, and a great atmosphere. We're currently on our road trip through Normandy and will definitely remember this evening as one of the highlights of our trip. A clear ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from us – full marks! Excellent, lots of choices, top-notch servers. I recommend it.

The food was good, no complaints there. However, the waiter was unfriendly, even though we were a party of 11 and had booked in advance. The friendliness of the waiters we encountered on the terrace needs serious improvement!

Go without hesitation! Even at 2 pm we were greeted with a smile, the service was impeccable, the food was excellent, and the setting was pleasant. Stay just as you are!

Excellent meal, very good value for money. Very welcoming. Pleasant atmosphere.

The mussels and fries lunch special is very affordable. The meal was very good. The fries weren't greasy. And the gourmet coffee was very good. The service was friendly. And the beer names were very original. It's a shame that we couldn't have tea instead of coffee with the gourmet coffee, as is the case in other restaurants.
