La Cave du Salut sur Fecamp

What a wonderful discovery this charming restaurant along the harbor was! We were going to book a table at Le Pavillon restaurant along the beach, but the waitress was so unpleasant to her colleague that we turned around and left. This rudeness meant we ended up having a lovely time at La Cave du Salut. The staff were pleasant, attentive, and discreet, the setting was very pleasant, and the food was delicious. The meat was excellent. Highly recommended.

I'd rather talk to a door than our waiter. The wine and cheese were good and well-chosen, though.

Great meal, fresh and local produce! Homemade fries, excellent mussels, generous portions. Despite the unassuming exterior, the quality was more than adequate! I highly recommend it! 🫶

An excellent place! We had a wonderful time. Special mention for the piña colada, perfectly prepared and very refreshing to start. As for the main course, the sirloin steak was incredibly tender, accompanied by excellent fries. Quality meat and perfectly cooked: flawless! I highly recommend it and will gladly return.

A brasserie on the harbor. Nothing exceptional, but the big advantage is being open all day... The chicken was a bit dry, the recipes simple... However, the seafood sauerkraut was very good! I recommend it.

Review from May 2024. We discovered this restaurant last night and returned for lunch today, which reflects our complete satisfaction. The food was excellent, the portions generous, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The prices were very reasonable and the service was quick. A must-try for a relaxing lunch break along the Fécamp harbor. Well done! Review from August 2026. We are still just as delighted. For the past two years, renovations have certainly improved the space and the atmosphere. That's the only positive change. Everything else remains the same. The food is excellent! Good value for money. A warm welcome and friendly interaction with the staff: despite the crowds, you almost feel like you're the only customer. Well done! We will be back.

Very nice restaurant. The food was very good and the service was fast. The staff were very pleasant.

We came as a group of five to enjoy mussels and fries. At €18 a dish, the mussels marinière were very bland. Small but well-filled, they were sorely lacking in seasoning. No parsley or shallots. The white wine was barely noticeable, and the sauce was ultimately tasteless. The draft beer on offer was €8 a pint, a basic and rather bland beer, despite being French. Disappointed, we won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend it either.

Works non-stop for siesta. Decent level.
