We had a great time in this superb restaurant with a very nice rustic chic decoration. The dishes are excellent, the service at the top with very good advice. I warmly recommend. Clement.

Sublime moment around a warm meal with good seasonal products! The mixture of flavors and the innovation of the dishes are very well respected. The atmosphere, welcome and service are very attentive. I recommend without any hesitation (remember to book, it is almost always full).

Fabuleux! Nous avons adoré notre escale d’hier soir dans ce restaurant, choisi grâce à TripAdvisor. Le lieu est très agréable, au cœur du quartier piéton de Saintes. Notre soirée a été agrémentée par un bon chanteur/musicien de rue (le jeudi). Les plats étaient tous délicieux et originaux et les vins très bien choisis (nous avons d’ailleurs acheté une bouteille en partant). Le service était parfait, riche de bons conseils et chaleureux. Allez-y les yeux fermés!

Very warm welcome. Gourmet and original cuisine with very fresh market products. Excellent cocktails and wines. We had a great time and we wholeheartedly recommend this address. Passing through Saintes it was a great discovery.

We came to Saintes to see friends, in the middle of a quiet street we discovered this restaurant. Everything is there, waitresses with a smile, a chef who offers us generous and refined cuisine. The menu offered is varied and the products offered are of high quality. The wine list is also varied and adapted to all tastes. I recommend that you go to this address. Favorite guaranteed. We will come back with pleasure.

A taste experience not to be missed in Saintes! Warm and efficient service. Trendy decor, the dishes are beautiful and refined and the wine list is extensive. A very nice parenthesis. Small suggestion, invest in a high chair to accommodate the children 😉

14/12/2023: Doux Bistrot, devant sa Cathédrale, magistrale. Oui encore du 5, le 6 n étant pas accessible. Merci pour votre douceur Mmes du service et sa patronerie. Les mets y sont préparés avec délicatesse, autant que la main qui pose l assiette. ✨❤️♈✨ Guillaume et Harmonie
12/11/2023: Ne restez par sur l'autoroute. Faites un crochet par le BDH. Belle ambiance conviviale avec des plats originaux. Un traditionnel oeuf mayo revisité et le reste suit.

03/09/2024: Good morning, Better late than never!! I'm writing this review very late, it's true, but the evening of May 18th for my son's birthday and mine, what can I say, AT THE TOP. Several months of preparation, demands but nothing scares him. Everything was delicious, succulent, refined and in perfect timing. I don't have any advice to give, but frankly, for a successful evening, IT IS ESSENTIAL. For the next ones, Joanes' 20th birthday in 2026, my mother's 80th birthday in the same year, no need to look!! Don't change anything, YOU ARE ON TOP.
02/09/2024: We chose this caterer for our wedding. What can we say about this experience: excellent, delicious, exceptional, a reception and a meal with fine, refined and gourmet dishes. These are the feedbacks from all our guests. Let's talk about the service: impeccable, a professional team led by a maître d' who takes care of the bride and groom.
