La Chapelle Cafe sur Lyon

One of Lyon's most essential LGBTQIA+ friendly bars. Warm and welcoming staff. Good music. Beautiful decor. Great location near the banks of the Saône. But the prices are exorbitant. My last visit was this past Sunday. For a simple syrup, I was charged €5.... I can understand paying €2 or €2.50 for a syrup, but €5 is unacceptable. Especially since the syrup isn't homemade. A real shame....

A great welcome, a lovely cocktail and charcuterie board menu. The beef carpaccio, the daily special, was very well presented.

We've been to Bar Lachapelle in Lyon several times, and each time we've been greeted with a smile. The atmosphere is always amazing, the staff is professional, attentive, and truly goes the extra mile. Today, we came with our dog, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that nothing was overlooked: our furry friend was welcomed just as warmly as we were, with great kindness and care. I stopped completely by chance at this lovely café and had some wonderful encounters. La Chapelle is a very pleasant place. Apparently a Lyon institution. The service, the atmosphere, everything is perfect. I recommend this experience to anyone.

A must-visit! The staff is friendly, the music is great, and the atmosphere is fantastic. The only downside is the queue to order.
