A truly pleasant surprise. We were returning from vacation on a Sunday evening. Nothing was open on the surrounding main roads. We stumbled upon this establishment. The owner was closing up his kitchen but still served us. Good, home-style cooking: country terrine as a starter, followed by a very tasty chicken tagine. We had a chance to chat with the owner, who was very kind.
A small restaurant on the Auvergne holiday route. The food is good, the beds are good, and the welcome is friendly. A lovely little stopover not to be missed. Excellent value for money.
A true journey through time... and through flavors!
This restaurant may have a slightly dated decor, but that's precisely what gives it all its charm. It has a warm, simple, and authentic atmosphere, just like home. The dishes are delicious, generous, and carefully prepared: you can taste the homemade food in every bite.
As for the welcome... nothing to complain about: smiles and little touches that make all the difference. We had a dog, and he was welcomed as much, if not better, than we were 😅.
A place not to be missed for those who prefer quality and conviviality to fleeting trends.
