The owner gave us a very warm welcome, and the hotel room and establishment in general were spotless. I highly recommend the lemon chicken – it was delicious!

A restaurant with a wonderful, welcoming, family atmosphere. The service was perfect, and the gentleman was very friendly and attentive. The food was superb, and it was a truly excellent experience! I highly recommend it.

Simple homemade food and a delightful proprietor - it was a little step back in time. We were the last table at lunch and ended up a chatting with the proprietor about his time working in a London hotel after national service (I am guessing in the 1970s). His wife cooks and he is front of house. The food is local, authentic and not trying to be clever, just fresh, local and traditional food. A lucky road trip lunch stop.
