La Chaumiere sur Mouroux

Very professional, very friendly, and very, very good. We booked for 17 people and weren't disappointed. The waiters and waitresses were excellent and managed everything perfectly. A fantastic day! I highly recommend it if you want to book for a small party; it's perfect, even for a romantic dinner. A tip: book in advance. Thank you to Jack for his hospitality.

While visiting friends in Seine-et-Marne, they recommended this restaurant for dinner. We had a very good meal. The beef bourguignon and andouillette sausage were excellent. My only slight complaint is that the choux pastry in the profiteroles was a little dry. (And yes, I'm a profiterole expert.) Apart from that, I highly recommend it. Friendly staff, quick and efficient service. We had a lovely evening.

The service and menu were perfect, no complaints there. There was some noise, though (it didn't factor into my rating, but I'm mentioning it for those who might be bothered by it). The starter was perfect; I had the snails, well-cooked and large, no problem there. For my main course, I had the hanger steak, however, the plate was cold, although it was cooked rare, and the fries looked frozen to me. For dessert, the crème brûlée wasn't firm enough and lacked flavor; I'm not sure it was homemade. The price is around €40 for an aperitif, starter, main course, and dessert, which is reasonable, but I was still a little disappointed with the quality of some of the dishes. I'll try the restaurant again sometime to give it another try. I still recommend the restaurant, though; I probably just had a slightly difficult experience with the service.

We appreciated the warm welcome. The service was quick and the food offered good value for money: a tasty and generous salmon quiche for a starter, decent beef and carrots (a few pieces of beef were a little less tender), and chocolate profiteroles, with a generous dessert as well. The setting is also quite nice. We enjoyed the peanuts to shell with the aperitif; it was a nice touch.

Excellent cuisine, a menu where everything looks tempting with very good value for money.

A fantastic Valentine's Day evening with a delicious menu. They used fresh, local produce, which is rare these days. The whole team was lovely. And to top it all off, we had a singer to entertain us! Absolutely perfect. Thank you, and see you soon.

We had an exceptional time! The goal was to introduce my family (who are from Russia) to French cuisine and a warm welcome. The advice on our choices was invaluable, the attention to the children was thoughtful, and the atmosphere was wonderful in a beautiful setting! And the food was so delicious ❤️👌!
