Great! The welcome, the atmosphere, the dishes...

1st experience this week, a very good address in Dunkirk (with 'as you wish' also on the dike). Quality service (I confirm, the Chinese cabbage is delicious 😀) and excellent menu (cockles + pollack + figs) Very good bottle of wine (Meursault 1er cru) at an almost reasonable price.

Discovery of this restaurant on the dike, nicely and tastefully decorated, we were a table of 9. We received a very good and refined appetizer. The starter (tuna) was delicious. On the other hand, in terms of main course it wasn't that: Veal bone: I asked how it was cooked, I was told that they would be pink. Unfortunately all the meats were overcooked. Those who took the sea bream, the fish was dry and the risotto had a strange sour taste. Good dessert though. The service was good although too long: 3 hours at the table even though we had children. We were able to negotiate the complimentary coffee for the inconvenience. Bad luck of the day? Maybe, but we have already visited other restaurants where, for the same price, we have eaten a lot better.

Great seasonal dishes with that certain something extra. Best cuisine in Dunkirk. Excellently prepared and presented. Friendly and helpful staff. We'll be back.
