12/10/2026: Excellent welcome, the place is warm and inviting, the tables are well-spaced, the dishes are beautifully presented and excellent, and the service is attentive. Nice wine list. The only downside was that the bread wasn't fresh, bordering on stale, even though it was late in the day, around 8:30 pm.

A small place with one of the best views in Dunkirk and one of its best-kept secrets. 04/09/2026: Delicious beef tartare. I've never seen so many varieties on a menu. The service is really friendly, the atmosphere is a bit noisy... it's hard to imagine better in this picturesque location. I recommend making a reservation. This restaurant is very popular, and understandably so.

03/10/2026: One weekday evening, we took advantage of having some free time to dine at La Cambuse. There were four of us, and we were all very happy. My Maroilles burger was delicious, as were the fries. I recommend this place. The service was pleasant and quick.

10/10/2026: What a lovely surprise to find the original restaurant back in the market square, instead of near the Marine Center where it had been for a year. The staff are delightful and very attentive, the menu is small but effective and everything is homemade, which is what matters! I gave it 4 stars for the food because the potatoes were a little burnt, which was a shame, and the salad wasn't rinsed properly, so it was a bit crunchy with leftover dirt or sand. The steak tartare, however, was truly excellent and well-prepared! Next time I'll try the cooked meat. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

The quality of the meat is outstanding; the Angus beef steak and homemade burgers are perfectly cooked and incredibly juicy. What's most surprising is the portion size! You can choose the amount of meat you want, and the generous portion, including the side of French fries, is truly satisfying. The staff are friendly and energetic, making it the perfect restaurant for a night out with friends or family enjoying delicious meat and drinks. It's also one of the few places in France where you can enjoy Wagyu beef, and while it's a bit pricey, it's well worth the splurge.

28/08/2026: Another great experience at this restaurant. The quality of the food is undeniable; the beef is divine, and the service and ambiance are top-notch. Unheard of! You order a cold drink, then a second, and the server waits until you finish the first before serving the second. The result: your drink is always cold, and you don't even have to ask—everything is taken care of! Bravo!
