La Chenaie sur Pornic

A wonderful discovery for our first stay at a Capfun campsite in Pornic! Everything was perfect for a fantastic holiday: a variety of entertainment and activities, always well-organized and on time, pools to suit all tastes, both indoor and outdoor, and a spotless bungalow upon our arrival. We also loved the shows, which were truly impressive and of high quality. The entertainment team also deserves a special mention: always smiling, energetic, and attentive to the guests. A very welcome bonus: the pitch we requested was exactly as advertised. Our daughters had a blast from morning till night without ever getting bored; they were absolutely captivated! Needless to say, we're leaving with our heads full of memories and the desire to return very soon!

Capfun campsite is great for children and adults

We had a great stay at Camping Capfun La Chênaie. There are lots of beautiful things to discover in the surrounding area, especially the tourist train which offers a lovely tour of Pornic. The driver isn't very interesting and will tell you jokes that aren't very funny, but it doesn't matter since the ride is very expensive, €9 per person. You can also go on lots of great family outings (just kidding, we were forced to go, it was awful). At the campsite, you'll find indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, as well as several playgrounds. In one of them, we formed strong bonds with a group that includes Étienne, Claudine, and Brandon, not forgetting polska.49 and his friends. Be careful, the playground is slippery after it rains; I fell several times in different positions and ripped my jeans. You can try sliding down the slippery playground; some people have managed it with style, but it's at your own risk! Good camping experience, we'll never come back!

It's always great at your Capfun campsites. I've been to three different ones and they were all fantastic. And each one was a little different too. At La Chenaie, the pumptrack is a huge plus, especially when the weather isn't great. The large outdoor pool was heated, as was the water in the water slides, which was fantastic, especially when you arrive on May 8th and you're not at all sure about the weather. We loved the sun loungers too; two days there felt like a mini-holiday! And getting a fully loaded Fun Dose guarantees a great weekend! Special mention to Lisa, the activities coordinator; what energy and what a smile! Our favorite! ❤️ The mobile home was super clean; kudos to the young people we met in the walkways who do their best to keep everything spotless! Thanks to Alain for the takeaway fish and chips, it was delicious! Near Pornic, we were able to go for a 10km run, staying entirely on pedestrian/cycle paths and running along the sea. Great campsite, we had a good pitch and the children had a really great time. We'll be back!

The activity leaders, Lisa, Charlotte, Melie, Margaux, and Coco, were incredible. For our first weekend away with friends, we absolutely loved it! We were able to participate in the activities and entertainment offered, which were led with such enthusiasm that it made us really want to join in! I 100% recommend the campsite; it's easy to access, clean, and the pool and water slides are fantastic! Thank you for everything!

An unforgettable experience! My first time camping with all my friends. The activity leaders—Charlotte, Margaux, Lisa, Coco, and Mélie—were amazing! The entertainment was just as good. (PS: We even got to participate in the activity, but it's top secret 👀)

A fantastic stay! The campsite is perfectly suited for families and children. We spent a few days there and it was great. Our mobile home was perfect for little ones, the play structures were fantastic, and the pool was great too... I highly recommend it for a holiday with kids 👧🏼

Top-notch entertainment, come without hesitation!

Hello, overall we had a good stay. The region is very beautiful. Negative point: we were in a 4-person mobile home on a small pitch. It was very noisy because all around us were double mobile homes for 10 people. Our neighbors were partying until all hours. We contacted the security guard who intervened very quickly. We had hesitated between this campsite and the other one in Pornic and chose this one because of the Fun Dose Rouge (red) program. We were disappointed with the evening entertainment; only the music quiz was good and lasted until 11 pm. The 8:30 pm shows lasted only 30 minutes. So, we were disappointed with the evening entertainment. One of the indoor pools has a water depth of only 90 cm. Among the positive points, we can mention the very large and well-maintained water park. The campsite is beautiful overall, and the entertainment staff are energetic and very pleasant. The daytime activities are quite good and offer something for everyone.
