Disappointed with my last visit to La Chope.
We went back after a few years of going more often. But it's changed a lot. The prices have gone up considerably (like everywhere else), but the portions are smaller than before! Few fries, no side salad... As they say, it used to be better!

We ordered mussels and fries with cream and Maroilles cheese, the local specialty. But on closer inspection, few of our neighbors had made the same choice.
The sauces were good, but the mussels had no elasticity whatsoever, to the point that we wondered afterward if they were frozen. The fries, however, were quite decent.

A generous and, above all, excellent dish: the salmon tataki! Bravo 👏👏👏 I come to Le Touquet regularly, and for me, this is the restaurant with the best value for money. A huge thank you also to Louis for perfect service 🤩

Excellent restaurant; we enjoyed meat and seafood during our meal. The welcome and service were perfect. There was a wide selection of desserts, and the tiramisu was very good. Prices were very reasonable, in line with the average for this category. Reservations were made online, which was convenient.

As always, this restaurant is a must-visit. The food is excellent, the portions are generous and delicious, and the service is top-notch with a touch of humor – it's fantastic! We highly recommend it. We'll gladly return later this year.
