Upon returning from vacation, we booked this restaurant. The welcome was friendly and professional, with very little wait for our order. The food was excellent, and we enjoyed a delicious meal at a good price. We highly recommend it.

I discovered this lovely restaurant. My son and I had dinner there, and what a pleasant surprise! 😁😇 From the phone reservation to our departure, everything was perfect. The team was smiling, welcoming, very professional, and had great energy. We loved it, and our dishes were delicious. Thank you so much; it's wonderful to find a place like this close to home.

We were in Parthenay. We found this restaurant which I highly recommend. The coffee/paprika marinated beef skewer: exceptional! The black andouille sausage: succulent! And the crème brûlée flambéed with rum: divine!

Menu based on what's fresh; Local produce; Talented chefs; Pleasant and smiling waitresses; A friendly owner who is dedicated to doing things well, and it shows in the entire experience.

So, how can I put it? The food was absolutely amazing, excellent!
The servers were top-notch, and the owner was fantastic, funny, and attentive.
The restaurant was delightful, and the meal was truly very good, even if I'm repeating myself.

Nestled in the heart of Parthenay's medieval quarter, La Citadelle is well worth a visit.
The owner and his humor immediately set the mood, but above all, the food is delicious, prepared with local ingredients. The setting is charming, and the staff is very welcoming. This place deserves a visit!
