La Clairière sur Xonrupt-Longemer

We had lunch twice in a few days at this lakeside restaurant. We received a very warm welcome, the staff were pleasant, the setting was beautiful, and the value for money was excellent. The food was fresh, local, and homemade.

Neither the first nor the last time we'll come. Whether with family or friends, a good time is guaranteed. Friendly welcome, good service, no problems with our food. If you have any issues or questions, they ask; if you're not a grumpy tourist, there's no hassle, it's just common sense. Attentive waiters. In fact, the food arrives quickly, as do the drinks. When the rosé arrives too early, they ask for it to be kept chilled a little longer. Prices are perfectly reasonable. The only thing to mention: a tablecloth on the wooden tables on the terrace would be a nice touch, but on the other hand, covering the wood would be a shame. Pedal boat right next door 👌 We'll be back again. Every time we go to Longemer, we come here without hesitation. The negative reviews caught my attention; honestly, we were expecting a bad surprise when we came, but we weren't. A bad experience can happen, but don't fall into the trap of disgruntled tourists.

An ideal spot to enjoy the beautiful Lake Longemer. Simple but good food. Sun loungers available for guests. Twice in 15 days. We'll be back.

Nice place to rent a SUP or pedal boat. A pedal boat for 4 people costs €31/hour or €21/30min here.

The experience was a success. The previous reviews are well-deserved; the value for money is simply exceptional. Enjoying gourmet food in such a stunning setting is a rare treat. Highly recommended, a fabulous address in the region!

Raphaël is super competent and friendly, as are all the employees, who are smiling and kind.

Excellent gourmet coffee, crepes, and ice cream; the view is exceptional. The waitress Talia was very kind.

It's a shame the storefront doesn't reflect the interior... I hesitated to go for lunch, but the food was decent for the price and the outside was very pleasant 🙂 Dogs welcome 🐕
