La Cle des Champs sur Champagne

We had a wonderful Sunday. Excellent meal with delicious flavors and beautiful presentation. Thank you to the Chef.

First meal at the opening of "Amelie et Compagnie". Excellent value for money. €17.50 for the full meal. Mimoza eggs, then beef tongue, then chocolate mousse. Everything was perfect. And Véronique's service was incredibly helpful. Enthusiastic and delighted, I will return and encourage everyone to discover this new "great restaurant" which offers local and mostly organic products. The garden out back is very pleasant (it's missing a small bench for relaxing and chatting after such a good meal, lol!!). Note: reviews prior to November 12th refer to the old restaurant. Well, the adventure is over for this friendly restaurant run by Amélie. The former owner has taken over the business. It's a real shame. I hope he kept the staff.

Unexpected lunch stop on the road, upscale working-class restaurant, set menu for under €20, à la carte menu or festive meal for over €50, where in many places you'd pay double. On my next trip to the region, I'll make the detour.

Lunch special at €18: the starters are good. The main courses: frozen fish served with canned vegetables... inedible. The desserts are just as bad. Go to McDonald's, it's better 😉

I ate at La Clé des Champs this Wednesday, June 3, 2026. A set menu for only 18 euros, including a starter, main course, and dessert. The dishes were beautifully presented, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal from beginning to end. The owners are lovely. I will definitely return.

We had a small private room for 9 people. It was very quiet. The service was excellent. The dishes were delicious and generous. There was a good variety of food, and it was well-prepared. Go there and treat yourself.
