A hidden gem I hadn't heard of. I came as a family after searching on Google. The terrace was lovely, the staff friendly, and I wasn't very hungry. My starter was just right, with the addition of potatoes. My family ordered the vol-au-vent and gratin, which were excellent. A great find in a verdant setting! It was a bit chilly at 9 pm, so bring a light sweater; it was 19 degrees Celsius, compared to 26 degrees Celsius down below near Colmar.

A wonderful discovery! We chose the wild boar stew and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were so generous! My only regret is not having room for dessert :)

Simple and decent food, mostly served in red casserole dishes. Pleasant, shaded terrace. The waitress is overly formal, and the waiter is pleasant, but don't disturb his routine too much.

During this heatwave, what a great idea to have dinner at La Cocotte Rouge; the temperature inside was very pleasant. But the real highlight was the food, and the experience lived up to the expectations of the friends who recommended it.

25/08/2026: Stopping for a quick break between hikes, we had the immense pleasure of enjoying a truly exceptional apple tart/crumble that's worth a visit in itself. With quick service and very welcoming staff, don't hesitate to stop by to recharge during your days out in nature.

22/06/2026: Rose-Marie and Serge are exceptionally generous and kind, and they take excellent care of their guests. The meals are delicious and plentiful, as is the breakfast. The rooms are spotless. The location is secluded and peaceful, a place worth discovering. A big thank you for the opportunity to store our motorcycles in the garage. Thank you very much. J-C and Fredo
