Pleasant experience, lovely and attentive staff who answer the phone when needed. The homemade breakfast was delicious, I highly recommend it. Clean room, clean and comfortable bedding, towels provided. One small detail: bring your own shower gel as there isn't any. The air conditioning was set to 24°C, we were cold during the night, and we wanted to take a bath but couldn't fill the tub as there was no hot water. A pleasant place to stay, I would gladly return. Thank you to Francis, his wife, and their staff.

We had a wonderful stay at La Coloniale. The rooms are clean, very spacious, and comfortable. The view of the surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful, ideal for relaxation. We received a very warm welcome. Breakfast was simple but featured homemade products. We highly recommend this guesthouse.

We stayed here as part of a trip, using a Smartbox voucher. I think it's expensive for one night, considering the price of the voucher, and my room wasn't the one shown in the Smartbox pictures. I imagine the owners approve what's included in these vouchers. The room was smaller, but clean, with a TV, a fairly spacious bathroom, and the bed and sofa were fine. It was the Lantern Festival; we didn't know that, but it wasn't a problem. It was quite quiet, although we could hear motorcycles occasionally. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The owner, who had been mentioned negatively in many of the reviews I'd read, I understand that he might seem a bit gruff at first, but he's not mean, just straightforward.

A very pleasant weekend, a truly wonderful owner, and a very, very clean gîte... all homemade breakfast... we highly recommend it if you're going to the Festival of Lights... you're not too far away, and I promise you won't regret it at all... it's rare to find such comfortable and clean rooms... a big thank you to this gentleman who has been taking such good care of his gîte for so long... Serge and Véronique from Charente... 👍👏👏

11/04/2026: Fantastic evening at the horse-drawn carriage! The galettes and crêpes were excellent and plentiful, the staff were welcoming, the service was impeccable, and reservations were recommended. We have absolutely no complaints and will definitely be back.

16/03/2026: I was lucky enough to return several times. The first time was for a family holiday in the summer, and the second time was for the Halloween and Lantern Festival events. Each time, we were blown away by the beauty of the place. The decorations for each theme were breathtaking and completely immersed us in their world. What was most remarkable was the friendliness and warm welcome of the hotel and restaurant staff. A huge thank you to the team at La Table de Colette for taking such good care of us. Hats off to the Chef! We savored exquisite dishes with very original flavor combinations. We were also very touched by the servers who remembered the dietary needs of everyone in our group and served us personalized trays of petits fours when we returned to the restaurant for a drink. We were all truly captivated and will definitely be back!
10/03/2026: The welcome was fantastic, the place was comfortable and cozy, I really had a great time. Luckily, the weather was on our side, which greatly contributed to the stay!
