La Coquerie sur Sete

Exceptional! It was delicious, a wonderful surprise. Fresh, locally sourced produce. A unique 6-course menu, each one as delicious as the next! Cooking before your eyes. Top-notch service, approachable chef! Superb location, superb view (see photo). Highly recommended!

The meal was a true taste experience; there was a surprise menu with six courses for 80 euros. Each course was fantastic, with wonderful flavors. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the service. We were assigned a table in the sun. Since my companion is allergic to the sun, we politely asked if we could have one of the tables in the shade. This was refused in a rather rude tone. All tables were reserved, and swapping was impossible. (I believe tables are assigned in the order in which reservations are received.) Besides, the sun would be gone in about 20 minutes anyway. If that didn't suit us at all, we could also have one of the two tables in the (stuffy) interior. We waited the next 20 minutes inside and then suddenly got another table with more shade. However, the atmosphere was ruined by the very rude behavior of the manager (?), and we no longer felt comfortable – and somehow, atmosphere and friendly service are also part of a successful evening. The second server was also very helpful and friendly.

Inventive, fresh cuisine, filled with iodine. A very good gastronomic moment. Very nice view of the sea. Small downside on the service (very impersonal) and on the cheese (we will pass our turn).

Passing through Séte, finally an address that changes, setting and exceptional point of view, the chef makes us discover incredible flavors and the service is quality with wines "off the beaten track". A suspended moment, perfect!

One of the best restaurants in town! Excellent cuisine in a refined but extremely warm setting. The view is enough! Pleasure to see the chef working calmly with his team. The service is without fuss despite the professionalism. The wine advice is perfect, let yourself be guided! Varied selection of non-alcoholic drinks...a plus! A gastro in which you feel very comfortable. Thanks to the whole team. 🙏
