We had an excellent wedding lunch yesterday at La Coquerie. A magical, intimate setting, a warm and friendly welcome, creative, flavorful, and delicious cuisine. The wine pairing was exceptional.

A gourmet restaurant in Sète where you can admire the view of the port and the sunset from its location, despite the constant stream of cars and motorcycles heading towards Mont Saint Clair. The unique (and surprising) set menu allows you to sample different flavors with delicate, sometimes surprising, tastes. The portions are rather small, the wines by the glass are well-matched to the dishes, and the service is friendly and professional. It's a shame the chef isn't present, as is the case in many other establishments in this price range, which is still a bit high.

A tasting menu was served to all guests at a table of 10, and everyone's preferences were taken into account, with each dish adapted to accommodate individual dietary restrictions and aversions.
The wines were a wonderful discovery, again tailored to everyone's expectations and tastes.
(In my opinion, the only downside was a lack of lighting on the tables... which darkened the plates and didn't do justice to the colors and presentation of the dishes as seen in the photos.)

It's a true gastronomic experience. Everything is delicious, and the portions are generous and varied. For us, it's a must-try in Sète. The special touch that makes it such excellent cuisine: they'll even get you to eat ingredients you don't usually like. The view is fantastic, which is a nice bonus. It's not cheap, but in our opinion, it's justified because it's so good.

Restaurant found in the Michelin Guide. Terraced garden overlooking the sea. View into the kitchen.
And that's where it begins: six amuse-bouches, a six-course meal punctuated by surprising and delicious natural wine pairings. The wine list is extensive but perfectly curated by the person in charge of the wines. Discoveries with incredible aromas. The amuse-bouches and main courses were simply amazing, with desserts that finished everything beautifully. We're used to Michelin-starred restaurants, and for a restaurant listed by Michelin, this deserves a star... the only slight drawback was the somewhat slow service. Truly, congratulations!

My wife and I dined at this lovely restaurant on August 12, 2026 (beautiful view of the sea and the port) and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The chefs prepared excellent regional products with the utmost care. The only slight drawback was that all the wines were served in the same glass throughout the entire meal (sparkling, white, and red). Nevertheless, it's a place I would definitely recommend to my friends and family (and to Google 😊). Thank you for your warm welcome and excellent service.

It had been a long time since I'd eaten so well! I had a truly wonderful culinary experience! Each course arrived at the table with an explanation, and the same went for the wine, which was perfectly recommended!
