Was a 3 Michelin star experience. Amazing. Like, the best ever.

We only dined at the restaurant where we ordered the gourmet menu. The food was exceptional from start to finish. In short, I would say that the combination of flavors and textures was perfectly balanced. We truly enjoyed ourselves. The servers were all incredibly attentive, and some were even very pleasant (special mention to the cheesemonger!). I had an unforgettable evening in this magnificent setting. A little tip for future customers: don't underestimate the portions, as the gourmet menu is already quite substantial.

It's easy to see why this establishment is considered one of France's finest restaurants. The welcome is exceptionally refined, blending warmth, professionalism, and genuine attention to every detail. The cuisine, meanwhile, reaches a level where technique fades into the background, giving way to emotion. Each dish tells a story: that of a magnificent terroir, a respected ingredient, and a chef who has mastered the art of elevating flavors without ever overdoing it. The flavors are precise, the combinations bold yet always perfectly executed. The service is exemplary: attentive without being intrusive, present without ever being pushy. You feel accompanied throughout the meal, with seamless elegance. La Côte Saint-Jacques is not just a restaurant: it's an interlude of excellence that you leave with gratitude and the desire to return.

Thank you so much for this extremely pleasant experience. The dishes were thoughtfully prepared with a touch of umami, and the sweetbreads "tsukune" were delicious. The service was fantastic and efficient. We will be back.

I had the honor of a kitchen immersion experience! A truly wonderful experience as a food enthusiast... A very warm welcome to get things off to a great start. Up to my room, which was absolutely superb. Then a quick visit to the spa, which was also very pleasant! And then... down to the kitchen! 😋😆😊 - I was greeted by Alexandre (the chef 😉). A tour of the kitchen brigade... Absolutely fantastic! It's huge. Top-notch hygiene! The same goes for the sanitary facilities! He showed me everything, from the arrival of the ingredients to the kitchen itself, and everything was impeccable! (Bravo!) Then I joined the brigade in the kitchen! Very interesting, pleasant, and undoubtedly passionate people. Thank you for the warm welcome, your availability, and for letting me touch your knives 😉.... Dinner that evening... what can I say except magnificent! In short!! A truly wonderful experience; I sincerely plan to return.... I highly recommend this establishment. We tried the bistro. The setting is admittedly minimalist, with very pretty decor, really nice. However, overall, I was disappointed with the bistro: few dishes on offer, and the flavors were generally average. The service was mediocre, and the atmosphere wasn't great, either in the lobby or the dining room. If I compare it to Anne-Sophie Pic's bistro in Valence, there's no contest; she's top-notch. What a shame. On the other hand, the fine dining restaurant is perfect. The atmosphere needs significant improvement.

Thanks to a gift box I gave my partner, I chose to stay in Joigny at La Côte Saint-Jacques for the first time, and we don't regret it at all. We had an excellent stay at your establishment, from the cuisine and service worthy of a 3-star restaurant, to the chef's visit at the end of the meal (which is becoming rare in Michelin-starred restaurants), to the exceptional room with its view of the Yonne River. We were able to enjoy the terrace, not to mention the spa. The staff were very attentive and responsive. Everything was truly perfect. Thank you for this wonderful experience. Stéphane B.

Excellent stay at the hotel. A truly beautiful establishment: a perfect indoor pool for swimming, a fantastic jacuzzi and sauna, a spacious room, and a magical view of the sunny river in the morning. The breakfast was very generous and delicious! Next time we'll arrive earlier so we can enjoy the restaurant.

An unforgettable family weekend. If you're looking for a place that feels like home, where you can truly pamper yourself, then you've found it. The entire staff is welcoming, smiling, and always attentive to your needs, with meticulous attention to detail. The rooms are pleasant and spacious, with comfortable beds and a lovely view of the Yonne River. As for the restaurant, it deserves three stars. We experienced a sensational visual and culinary journey without a single flaw. The wine list is extensive, featuring some wonderful discoveries.
