What I found truly exceptional was that, beyond the outstanding quality of the food, the staff genuinely cares about ensuring you have a wonderful experience. They offer excellent advice on dishes and wines… it's a beautiful, timeless atmosphere. Truly unique!

The discovery: an intimate setting, refined cuisine, personalized service, and invaluable advice that made our time there a remarkable experience. Our wish: to return when the weather is nicer to better enjoy the setting. Thank you to John and the entire team. La Tramontane

15/02/2026: Came into Port-Vendres for the last 3 days of our vacation. Cold rainy weather had us run into the closest restaurant to escape. Fortunately it was La Tramontane! Food and service were excellent! We enjoyed it so much we returned the next day for Valentines dinner. Pâté and Carpaccio St Jacques for appetizers, and the sole and entrecôte for mains. Outstanding meals! Might end up there tonight🤷‍♂️

15/02/2026: Passing through the area...we had a really great time in this restaurant on Valentine's Day...the welcome was top-notch...the food was superb...the prices were reasonable...we will definitely come back if we are ever in the area again!
