Eight years ago, the service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was friendly. In June 2026, things had changed drastically. We received a very poor welcome, and the atmosphere was rather gloomy. The food was still good. We won't be going back.

We received a very warm welcome from the helpful staff. We had a table on the terrace overlooking the harbor, and the outdoor misting system was perfect for hot weather. The daily menu offered excellent value for money. The service was quick. We'll be back.

Le Tramontana, Port-Vendres: dangerously delicious sangria! 🍷 💫I came for the food, but the sangria clearly had other plans. Ordered it regularly and it was excellent every time — as if someone put summer in a glass.☀️ 👍🏻Once they forgot my sangria. A drama of about six minutes. But then the waiter came with a free sangria as an apology. See, that’s how you turn a small mistake into a heroic act. 👏🏼Service with humor, sangria with superpowers, and a terrace where you spontaneously decide that tomorrow exists too…

22/05/2026: Excellent seafood meal, especially, but the meat dish is also very good and well-prepared. The servers are pleasant and efficient. The atmosphere, reminiscent of a fisherman's day, by the water's edge with a view of the fish stall, is charming.

15/07/2026: I'm giving it 5 stars except for the atmosphere, because the food and service were truly excellent. However, there was one thing that bothered me a lot. Seeing a waiter, who was very friendly, professional, and impeccable throughout the entire service, being reprimanded in front of the customers was really inappropriate. Honestly, I was on the verge of saying something, but I held back. This kind of situation makes both the staff and the customers uncomfortable. It's a shame, because it tarnishes what would have been a perfect experience.
15/06/2026: This is the perfect place to enjoy excellent cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Attentive service and a family-run establishment. We will definitely return on our next trips to Port-Vendres in Spain.
