A wonderful discovery at La Tramontane! The menu is very affordable, the ingredients are fresh, and the dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. The welcome and service are also excellent, with a friendly, smiling, and very pleasant team. I highly recommend this place; we will gladly return!

I've rarely eaten fish so perfectly cooked ☺️ Everything was delicious, from the tomato gazpacho with tomato and basil ice cream to the mixed fish with Catalan cream. All for 25 euros, served by lovely staff... what more could you ask for at that price? A wonderful time, thank you so much to the whole team! 🤩

A fantastic culinary experience where the dishes are prepared with care and the service is delivered with a smile and good cheer. The helpful advice on places to visit in the area was a nice touch! We will definitely return during our next stop in Port-Vendres. Thank you!

The servers are super friendly and kind to children, the daily menu is excellent, we were able to eat a little late (1:30 pm) without a reservation and without waiting, a very good place

Are you tired of being disappointed by the quality and originality of your meals? Tired of offering burgers or pizzas to your teenagers? If you crave authentic cuisine where you can share a meal with your children because the roasted vegetables are delicious and teenagers actually eat them, if you crave a menu that will surprise you, if you crave simple, unpretentious service where relationships aren't driven by profit, then I recommend La Tramontane restaurant and its menu for just €25.90, located at the foot of the port in the wonderful village of Port-Vendres… We've been going there for 5 years and we'll continue to visit because it's such a pleasure! Well done to the whole team!

26/08/2026: A very nice restaurant with an indoor dining room, an upstairs dining room, and a pleasant covered terrace. Reservations are necessary in the summer, as we were warned. The menu is excellent, featuring meat, fish, and seafood dishes. There are also three very appealing set menus. The portions are generous, as are the presentation of the dishes. The servers are very friendly and offer excellent advice on both the food and the wines. I highly recommend it if you are passing through Port-Vendres.

12/08/2026: August 2026, we arrived without a reservation and received a very personal welcome. We were introduced to the new menu items, including a bonito pissaladière (see photo) that you absolutely must try! The delicious Zarzuela, with its trio of fish, squid, and shrimp, all served with a rich, reduced sauce that's simply irresistible... and to finish, a baba au vieux mar de Baniuls, which is simply divine. Thank you again for this lovely experience! See you next year. August 2025 at 1:50 pm, we arrived without a reservation and were accepted! A very warm welcome, exquisite cuisine with exceptionally fresh ingredients. I highly recommend the bouillabaisse, which is absolutely delicious. Keep up the good work, and we look forward to returning on our next visit.
