A charming village restaurant housed in a former village school.
Simple, good, and generous French cuisine. It's everything we love.
It's far better than all the junk food that's flooding France with kebabs and tacos.
It's very good, refined, and beautifully presented. The price is very reasonable. You'll receive a warm welcome in a truly pleasant setting, especially for those who like to slack off—it's the old village school 😉.
A bonus: go in the summer. They have a lovely rustic terrace with a view of the Beaujolais region; it's simply a magical moment on warm, starry evenings...
First visit to this place; until now we'd always booked too late, as the restaurant was always full.
Being in a former school adds a touch of nostalgia, bringing back so many memories...
The welcome is warm, the owner is very generous with explanations, and conversations flow naturally.
And the food... Wow, a delight from start to finish! A wonderful discovery!
