La Cour des Anges sur Colmar

Tucked away just off one of Colmar’s busy squares, La Cour des Anges feels like a little discovery. We sat outside on a beautiful evening, surrounded by the charm of old Colmar — everywhere you looked seemed to offer another lovely little vignette. The food was excellent, and I particularly appreciated having good vegan options. Others at our table thoroughly enjoyed their burgers, and everything felt fresh and well prepared. Add some very good cocktails, a lovely red wine and warm service, and we were quite happy to linger. And then there’s the dog. Very sweet, very well behaved, and clearly trained to keep his distance from the tables. If you want to say hello — and you probably will — step away from your table and go to him. The gentleman running things brought a wonderfully positive energy to the evening, as did the whole team. Charming setting, good food and a lovely atmosphere. A very enjoyable Colmar evening.

Absolutely recommend this restaurant. Literally just off the beaten path and mêlée of the centre of Colmar. This is a beautiful restaurant with a good mixed choice of vegetarian and meat dishes. Service was amazing and very reasonably priced. Worth a visit

A place to remember. It's becoming increasingly difficult to find good food, especially in Colmar where tourist traps abound. Here, the tarte flambée is as delicious as it is generous, as are the burgers. The chef is also very friendly (without ever being obsequious) and clearly knows his stuff. Be sure to book ahead!
