My wife and I had a lovely time at this beautiful establishment, a true representation of Alsace. We ordered both versions of veal escalope, one with cream sauce and the other breaded—a real treat. The service was impeccable: pleasant, quick, and efficient, perfect for lunchtime with a short break. The prices are very reasonable considering the generous portions, despite the somewhat surprising complaints from the next table. We will gladly return.

First time and a wonderful discovery… Potato pancakes for me, pasta with scallops and scampi for my husband, and even though the prices are slightly higher than in other well-known Alsatian restaurants, I highly recommend it. Private parking… top-notch, fast service and a very attentive waiter… excellent value for money, very generous portions, tasty dishes, and beautifully presented. We will definitely be back!

A true Alsatian institution. This magnificent half-timbered house embodies the very soul and tradition of our region. The tarte flambée is excellent, the Alsatian dishes generous and authentic, sure to delight both young and old. It's a place where you come to eat well, but above all, to share wonderful moments. Always a pleasure to return, always creating wonderful memories. A timeless, welcoming place, true to the Alsace we love.

The tarte flambée is above average compared to what I've experienced in Alsace. The quality has been consistent for many years since I've been a regular at this restaurant. The dining room is a bit noisy. The desserts are generous, and there are some original varieties of sweet tarts. Improvements: A few savory snacks (pretzels/sticks/peanuts) would be a welcome addition to the aperitifs as a gesture of goodwill. Warning: (1) There are approximately 20 parking spaces for more than twice the number of tables in the restaurant... Something's not right here! (2) Be sure to book early, despite the two evening seatings!

We were served by passionate, dedicated professionals who were deeply committed to their work. The explanations were precise, lively, and enriching—each interaction added another dimension to the experience. You could feel a real team spirit and a genuine desire to share. The food was simply exquisite! We were truly impressed by the bold flavors, especially the absolutely incredible flaky pretzel served with exceptional local foie gras—a combination as surprising as it was masterfully executed. As for the main courses, I was expecting the classic, pronounced taste of game. What a surprise! The venison was exceptional, remarkably delicate. All the sauces were perfectly executed—so much so that I couldn't resist mopping up every last drop with my bread. Special mention to the entire team: it's a rare honor and pleasure to be served by the chef himself, as well as by such a passionate and dedicated team. The welcome was on par with everything else: attentive, elegant, with the refined touch of handing our jackets back over our shoulders as we left. Thank you to the whole team for this exceptional experience. You've now earned a spot in our top 5 Michelin-starred restaurants that we've had the pleasure of discovering. 09/02/2026: True France, the menu is short but excellent. I recommend everything. You have to come in and try it.
03/01/2026: We had our company Christmas meal in one of their chalets. The chalet atmosphere was lovely, and being isolated was really nice. We chose the raclette menu. The cheese was good, but the dessert was really disappointing: some people had ice cream, which they didn't like, and others had fruit salad, which was canned—disappointing. So, the chalet atmosphere was great, but I won't comment on the food...
