Best restaurant by far of the three we picked for this long weekend in Paris. The food was exceptional, traditional French but with subtle spice twist to highlight the multiculturality of Paris. We were lucky to pick it for our anniversary dinner. Absolutely recommend.

La Couvée was one of our most wonderful discoveries in Paris – above all, thanks to its truly exceptional food. Everything we tried was absolutely perfect. This is the kind of cooking that goes beyond simply being technically excellent – it is thoughtful, honest, beautifully balanced, and genuinely comforting. I have never had such an incredible chicken supreme, and the steak was just as outstanding. And the desserts? Simply perfect. You can see and taste how much care and attention goes into every detail. These are people who truly know and love what they do. The interior is beautiful and wonderfully cosy, but what makes La Couvée even more special is warm and friendly team – and I really do mean every single person. From the moment you walk in, you feel genuinely welcome. There is such a warm, comforting atmosphere about the whole place. We spent three nights in Paris and, of course, had originally planned to try a different restaurant each evening. But after our first dinner at La Couvée, we thought: why look for somewhere else when we’ve already found a place that makes us this happy? So we came back. And then we came back again. And hopefully, we’ll be back very soon. In just three days, La Couvée became our little place in Paris – beautiful, warm, cosy, with exceptional food. The kind of place we’ll want to return to every time we’re in Paris. Thank you for three wonderful evenings. ❤️

Very well-kept atmosphere, splendid view of Montmartre with characteristic windows, we ate well. Not a touristy place.

A delightful restaurant, seating around twenty, on a quiet street very close to Montmartre. Simply perfect, from the decor to the service. The dishes are excellent and generous. We highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you to the owner for sharing his joy of working and his good humor.
