La Crémaillère sur La Boulaye

I had lunch at this restaurant with a couple of friends from Normandy. The fact that the parking lot was full and the dining room was packed speaks volumes upon arrival. We ordered the set menu, which suited us perfectly. For an aperitif, we had a kir. It was a proper kir with crème de cassis and a good white wine. For starters, we ordered salads, and they weren't just a few leaves; there were crudités, apple, and tuna. My friends shared one salad between them. The fish was cooked perfectly, with just a few bones—it wasn't processed meat. Then it was either cheese or dessert. I had the goat cheese with cream (delicious!), and my friends had the homemade plum tart. The meal was generous and delicious. The owner's wife manages the entire dining room with great kindness. I will definitely return.

Fine cuisine, dynamic and attentive service, very good value for money (increasingly rare...), in short, we had a lovely evening in this establishment last Saturday!

Although we hadn't made a reservation and the terrace was already quite full, the owner welcomed us. Her smile and energy were remarkable and made us want to return. Thank you.

While on holiday in the area, we discovered this restaurant and were immediately charmed by the owner's warm welcome and her husband's warm hospitality. But also, and this is the main draw, by the quality of the food served. And for those watching their budget, the price of the daily special is more than justified by what's on offer. You can choose from two starters, two main courses, and several desserts. Of course, if you don't like what's on offer, you can always consult the menu. We also noticed a large number of regulars, which further demonstrates that you have every reason to stop by. Kudos to this young couple!
