Top frame Unfriendly boss or manager Three servers for thirty seats and 2.30 for a lunch service…what does the kitchen do? Overcooked meat drinks that arrive when we have finished the dishes Go picnic in the same place The result will be pleasant and much much cheaper.

This is not the first time I have come to this establishment. It's always a pleasure in this idyllic setting with a view of its Majesty, the Loire. The fish rillettes, the angivine sausage from Coteaux du Layon, the pike perch, the strawberry soup....everything was perfect. A big thank you to Sylvain and his colleague for their availability and advice. On the other hand, Mr. Boss, if you read this comment Hire staff to support them....I know your problem which generates all the comments saying "lack of staff". Be careful, you have a beautiful establishment, a magnificent setting, but pay attention to what I say because your rating of 3.7 is not exceptional....you should be close to perfection with this quality of food and that is not your case. Last thing, we're still not on the Champs Elysées....lower your prices a little.... Thank you again Sylvain for the good time you gave us and good luck for the month you have left to work. 😉👍

A very good time in this tavern. Top service with Sylvain, Manuel and the kitchen. They are short-staffed and are doing the best they can in this difficult context. Good food and top service but due to lack of staff we were not able to eat a hot dish. Let's hope for this friendly team that things work out...

01/09/2024: Charming restaurant with delicious home cooked meal served in breezy back door patio. Atmosphere was so relaxing and food absolutely super we went back for the second time. Be sure to have the glacé for dessert. Hello to “ Timothee “ and the kitchen staff and server who were wonderful and made our visit to this small but historic town. A must visit when you are in the Loire!
25/08/2024: A peaceful, friendly, welcoming place. Where you feel very good and where it is very pleasant to enjoy an ice cream or a drink. I recommend 100% and the little extra but that does everything…. the owners have a smile and are very pleasant.

20/05/2024: We choose to stay here in the quaint little town of Behuard in the Loire Valley. We specifically chose it so that we could cycle both East and West along by the river over two days. We were so pleased with everything about this small but carefully thought Hotel and restaurant. Our hosts, Armell and a Charles warmly greeted us, ensured our car had a place to park in the busy village and that we could safely leave our bikes. The room was large, appeared recently decorated and well appointed including USB plugs and very nice bathroom with powerful shower. We enjoyed a very nice evening meal prepared from us by Armell and accompanied by both a local red and white, suggested by them. Breakfast included croissants, fresh fruit, eggs and yoghurt. Excellent and it set us up for another day’s cycling. On our return, even though we were not staying another night we were warmly welcomed with a cup of tea and able to use the bathroom before setting off in our car. All in all we had a very nice stay and can warmly recommend it Many thanks Armell and Charles From Michael and Melanie.
