La Datcha sur La Giettaz

The warm welcome, kindness, and helpfulness of these people pleasantly surprised me. I had a wonderful time in this beautiful setting, thank you (a special mention to James who made my tea 😉).

Excellent place, very good food, and when you ask for a substitute, for example, homemade fries, they readily agree. The waiter was very pleasant and friendly. They offered us a small digestif, a special treat made at their establishment, which was very good! I highly recommend them!

Excellent food and quality service. We received a very warm welcome and the prices were very reasonable. We particularly appreciated the quality of the charcuterie on offer.

An excellent place 😃 Typical Savoyard cuisine, everything is homemade. The burger is fantastic (melted raclette cheese and homemade buns), the crozi cèpe is delicious and generously filled with fresh porcini mushrooms, and the onion soup is delicious. A warm welcome and a Savoyard atmosphere make this a must-try 🤩

Very pleasant service, beautiful establishment, however, the prices are quite high for average quality.

Had lunch here during our wintersport vacation, the food was good (I had the tartiflette) and the service excellent. We also received some thin slices of sausage as starter and a dessert shot drink afterwards, both were a nice addition. Can recommend this place if you're taking a break in La Giettaz.

Average experience. Great setting. Cooking instructions not followed (medium doesn't mean rare), service too junior, we were told to come in at 7 or 8 pm when we made the reservation even though it was far from full. A little tip: avoid the table used for the restrooms, it makes everyone uncomfortable!

Invited to a wedding this weekend. A superb and authentic venue with a truly charming team from early Saturday evening to Sunday lunchtime. An approachable and truly passionate chef. Homemade charcuterie to die for.. Vegetables (for some) from the family vegetable garden...just brilliant. A super quality wedding meal and private venue it seemed to me. Top of the top. As a bonus, I was able to leave with my reblochon from the farm next door.. A big thank you for everything and bravo (because there is work and homemade here)
