Real Pizza Large and generous, that's what you'll find at this Italian pizzeria. I've been going there since 1984/85. Quality, price, quantity, taste: unbeatable. I'll miss the owner, Mr. Pino. My favorite pizzas: Regina Campione and Esther.

These are exceptional pizzas, very generous and well-topped, with a thin and crispy crust.

A long-standing institution, but everything depends on Philippe; he's a machine for producing so many pizzas per hour. The pizzas are always very good thanks to Philippe. Perhaps an effort could be made to better distribute the toppings on the pizza, but when you see the number, you can understand why he's overwhelmed. It's Philippe who works tirelessly, not his bosses.

I've known this place for a very long time. The pizzas are still just as big, but the toppings have gone down a bit.

Le Saint Pa

13/09/2026: For the first time, I ate the whole pizza! I have never eaten one this delicious. The crust and ingredients were absolutely top-notch. The dessert, the dame blanche, was also heavenly for my taste buds.
06/09/2026: Upon arrival, you can't help but notice the view of La Charité-sur-Loire, and especially the Loire River itself. Then everything else falls into place: the quality of the service, the quality of the food, and the kindness of the owners. Impeccable pizza concepts and fantastic penne gratins. Honestly, if you have the chance, even just for a break during your travels, this place is a must. I highly recommend it.

Mille et une Feuilles

12/06/2026: The host speaks limited English, but he's super friendly and helpful. He gave us a recommendation on a place for dinner that was superb! Rooms are clean and large for a European hotel. We decided to stay a second night as the town is charming and this hotel is just a short walk from the center of town. Wonderful stay!!
05/06/2026: A very warm welcome, lovely decor with numerous photos and texts by writers in the stairwell and dining room. Each room is named after a writer with photos on the walls (we had Simone de Beauvoir). Truly charming and welcoming.
